Midfielder- Marcos Llorente- 6/10

Marcos Llorente made his return from injury and played for half an hour, but the first few minutes of his return were not too memorable. The 23-year-old conceded a penalty in really weird circumstances and picked up a yellow card for his act. But he was fairly decent after that, but there was nothing noteworthy from his appearance off the bench.

More from Real Madrid

Midfielder- Toni Kroos- 7.5/10

Toni Kroos looked amazing after returning from injury and was all over the midfield as he conducted the play after coming on for Luka Modric. The Germany international completed 100% of his passes and his trademark long balls were superb as well. He will get the starting berth against Espanyol on Sunday and he will hope to impress again.

Midfielder- Isco- 6.5/10

Isco came on with twenty minutes to play, but there was nothing of much talking in his cameo. The former Malaga midfielder held the ball in his feet properly and was also passing it around well, but there was no real output. With a two goal cushion, Isco will be hoping that Solari starts him in the second leg.

Manager- Santiago Solari- 8/10

It was a good day in the office for Santiago Solari as he oversaw his men take a 4-2 advantage out of the first leg. The team selection was spot on and no unnecessary risks were taken while picking the starting line-up. Maybe Kroos could have not featured at all and Brahim Diaz gotten a run, but nonetheless, Madrid won and that’s what mattered.
