LB: Alex Sandro 7/10

This wasn’t by any means a bad match for Alex Sandro, but Juventus could’ve used more from him. The attack was impotent until the subs came on and Sandro wasn’t able to provide much of a boost in the attacking half. He was as good as always on the defensive end, but he needed to give Juve more on the other end with no help coming from De Sciglio at right back. Juve will need him to be more of an influence in the coming weeks.

CB: Daniele Rugani 7/10

Depending on the severity of Bonucci’s injury Daniele Rugani could have a lot of responsibility thrust upon him. In this match he didn’t do anything to make us think he’ll be an improvement over Bonucci, but he also didn’t look like a liability. He cleaned up the biggest mistake he made in the match and outside of that he played a solid match. If nothing else at least we’ll get a good look at what kind of potential he still has.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci Inc.

Leonardo Bonucci started this match, but was forced to leave with an ankle injury. He was in the match for 40 minutes, but part of that was spent on the sideline receiving treatment and a large chunk was spent struggling to play at his best because of the injury. We don’t know the extent of the injury yet, but if it’s serious Juve will be wishing they hadn’t just agreed to sell Medhi Benatia.

RB: Mattia De Sciglio 6.5/10

Mattia De Sciglio actually played a pretty decent match defensively, but there was a clear difference in the team’s performance before and after he was removed. Unfortunately he just isn’t as talented as Joao Cancelo and it really showed in this match. He was fine on the defensive end, but offered Juve nothing in the attacking half. It looked like Cancelo was back to 100% in this match so we probably won’t be seeing De Sciglio for a couple of weeks.
