LW: Cristiano Ronaldo 7.5/10

When Juventus brought Cristiano Ronaldo in it was expected that he would be the player who would turn matches like this around, but he wasn’t able to make much happen at all. He did end up scoring a goal, but it was on a penalty earned by another player. I guess Juve should be glad that he got his penalty miss out-of-the-way against Chievo. At the end of the day he still scored and as long as he doesn’t have days like this in the Champions League it won’t be an issue for Juve or their fans.

ST: Paulo Dybala 7/10

This wasn’t a good day for anybody who started in Juve’s attack, but for Dybala this was the continuation of a trend. He has struggled all season long when asked to play anywhere in the       4-3-3 for Juve. In this match he was unable to get on the ball and when Juve actually managed to build some kind of an attack he wasn’t able to advance the attack at all. At this point he is holding Juventus back and should be sent to the bench when Mario Mandzukic comes back next weekend.

RW: Douglas Costa 6.5/10

After giving us reasons to rave for the last couple of weeks Douglas Costa came out and disappointed against Lazio. He had a few moments where it looked like his pace would once again be able to make a difference for Juventus, but those moments didn’t amount to much. He was another player that didn’t see much of the ball and saw even less of it in areas where he could make anything happen. Bernardeschi was more effective than him once he was subbed in and now we may actually have a battle for this starting spot on our hands again.
