LB: Leonardo Spinazzola 6.5/10

This wasn’t a great match for Leonardo Spinazzola. All three of Parma’s goals were created by crosses from his side of the field. He was also part of the group of players who completely let Juve down on the final goal. He did manage to get himself involved in the attacking half, but Juve didn’t really need help on that end i this match. He let the team down on the defensive end and, unfortunately for him, that will probably be the lasting impression he leave as Alex Sandro takes this spot back for the next few weeks.

CB: Daniele Rugani 7/10

It was all going so well for Daniele Rugani. He had played a mistake-free match. He had scored a goal to extend Juve’s lead. He was giving fans hope for the upcoming matches without Bonucci and Chiellini. Then he let Gervinho roam free in the box and deflected his back heel into the net and ruined a big chunk of that progress we had seen. This one mistake let Parma back into the match and put a major damper on what had otherwise been a largely positive match for Rugani. Hopefully he can take the positives and build on them because the competition is about to get tougher.

CB: Martin Caceres 6/10

It’s hard to be disappointed when your expectations aren’t particularly high. Martin Caceres was still disappointing in this match. He looked lost throughout the match and didn’t really contribute anything to the squad. He did an awful job stopping the cross from coming in on Parma’s second goal. It was a poor performance from Juve’s newest addition, but luckily we won’t see much of him once the usual starters are back.

RB: Joao Cancelo 8/10

We got a much better version of Joao Cancelo in this match than we did against Atalanta. He was once again a major threat in the attacking half and gave the Parma defense a ton of trouble. Parma was also unable to get much of anything down in Juve’s half on his side of the field. The one blemish on his record in this match is that he did get caught playing too far forward on Parma’s first goal, which left his area undefended, but that’s the risk you run when you ask him to push forward. This was the Cancelo we’ve gotten used to seeing this season and he’ll continue to be a big piece of Juve’s game plan moving forward.
