Zinedine Zidane isn’t the only positive change for Real Madrid…

When I said earlier in the week that Florentino Perez is trying his best to turn things around at Real Madrid, I meant it. The club’s president has made some positive changes since their departure from the Champions League, the most prominent being Zinedine Zidane at the helm.

According to Goal, he now wants to bring in BOTH Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Of course, this would mean losing serious funds, however, Real Madrid has everything to gain at this point in time. Signing both of the superstars would be a serious statement.

Gareth Bale‘s departure is surely imminent

More from Real Madrid

The longer Gareth Bale stays at Real Madrid, the lesser his value will become. This seems to be common sense right now since even Bale is growing tired of his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, his departure won’t come as a loss for Real Madrid.

Even Madrid will feel the financial strain of signing both Neymar and Mbappe. That said, they will be massively helped by whatever fee they manage to obtain for Bale. If Tottenham is still interested in signing their former star, then it may be hard to force a big fee out of Daniel Levy. However, Perez will always find a way.

Both clubs are in turmoil

Perhaps the best part about negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain is their current situation. Madrid isn’t the only big club to be eliminated from the Champions League since PSG suffered the same fate against Manchester United.

Neymar is hard enough to convince as it is, given his previous ties with Barcelona. That said, any advantage which Real Madrid can receive in their quest will benefit them massively.

Neymar and Mbappe would certainly benefit Los Blancos. The former of the two will bring plenty of flair, as well as an improved footballing intelligence. The latter will replace Gareth Bale’s immense speed while being able to beat the goalkeeper from a multitude of different positions.
