Real Madrid need to act in the transfer window this summer. Florentino Perez has already masterminded plans and provided assurances to Zidane.
Monday marked a positive day for Real Madrid’s fans after a dismal couple of weeks. The Whites announced that they had parted company with Santiago Solari and re-appointed Zinedine Zidane as their manager on a deal running for three years. But that did not come without the club’s president making some promises to the highly successful gaffer.

Zidane now has total control of the team and is more like Florentino Perez’s right hand man, making it very clear that the likes of Sergio Ramos or the now gone Cristiano Ronaldo do not interfere in matters pertaining to the team such as signings, starting elevens, punishments and everything of those sorts. Perez has promised Zidane that he will sign three players.
The first of those three is Tottenham Hotspur’s midfield man Christian Eriksen. The Dane has been a target for the Whites for long and they see him as a replacement to Luka Modric. With Kroos also looking likely to depart for Man City at some point to experience the Premier League, Eriksen could come in for 80 million euros during the summer. The Denmark international has been an asset for Spurs and will certainly be a great addition to Real Madrid. He can score goals, create plays and do a lot of dirty work.
The next name on Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane’s mutual radar lies in the Premier League too, and on similar territory to Tottenham’s- London. Eden Hazard’s move now looks inevitable following Zidane’s appointment at the helm and a reported price of 120 million euros may be enough for the Whites to lure Chelsea into selling him. The Belgian winger is having the season of his life and could be a great addition at Real Madrid. His finishing is top-notch and if only he gets improved service at Madrid, the stats will only buff.
The final player is one which all Real Madrid fans are raring to see in the club’s jersey- Paris Saint-Germain’s hotshot Kylian Mbappe. The 20-year-old is already smashing records and is only second to Leo Messi in the Golden Boot quest. That said, he can score a large number of goals at Real Madrid. Plus, the fact that he is very young makes him a long-term option, not forgetting that his present self is deadlier than most forwards too. Mbappe could cost Real Madrid a sum of at least 150 million euros.
In what order would you rank the three signings wanted by Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez?
