Real Madrid will be having a squad revamp during the summer, and one midfielder is surprisingly set for a switch to France.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has been one of the club’s most vital players over the last few years, especially in 2016/17 when they won the league and European double in what turned out to be a memorable season. Zinedine Zidane weaved his magic, but relied on Casemiro to do the tricks as well during that campaign.

However, the relation between the pair was never at the best though there was always a sense of cordiality. When Zidane began his second stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, he demanded assurances from Florentino Perez over keeping control over the entries and exits of players. A report claims that Casemiro could be one of the players who could leave in the summer.

The Brazil international was not even in the squad during Zinedine Zidane’s first outing following his re-appointment and while that was due to suspension, it would be a sight to look at as to how the pair gets along and how many minutes Casemiro gets between now and the end of this season.

The former Porto loanee has an offer from Paris Saint-Germain and wants to unite with his compatriot Neymar even on the club level. Casemiro sees the Paris Saint-Germain adventure as a new challenge and wants to try his hand out at European glory, something which PSG have plotted since a while but have had no success at.

The price at which Paris Saint-Germain could have Casemiro is still an emerging figure, but Real Madrid may not let go of him for less than 75 million euros. The likes of Adrien Rabiot, Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante have all been linked with the club, and while the PSG midfielder might come for free, the World Cup winners could cost Madrid a bomb.

Do you see Casemiro at Real Madrid next season, or does he move out of Spain?
