After Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, Real Madrid have been desperately needing a goal scorer and after a quite summer in the transfer market, the alarm bells have constantly been ringing for the last few months. That said, Mbappe is the perfect player to score goals and he is already on 31 in all competitions with Paris Saint-Germain this season.
Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo was a very marketable athlete. So too is Kylian Mbappe and that is the reason why Real Madrid are willing to break the bank for him. His French owners ask the Whites for 300 million euros and Florentino Perez is working on reducing that cost as Kylian Mbappe has some humungous wage demands as well.
At this point in time, Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane are both obsessed with landing Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu as they believe that the 20-year-old could be the solution to their goal scoring issues. However, Kylian wants the Merengues to sign one player before he commits himself to the Spanish giants according to claims.
Having already vetoed Neymar’s arrival because he does not want to share the spotlight, Kylian Mbappe wants Real Madrid to sign William Saliba, an 18-year-old midfielder on the books of Ligue 1 team Saint Ettiene. Saliba is a promising youngster and shares a cordial relationship with the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
As a matter of fact, Saliba is best friends with Mbappe and was also coached by Kylian’s father, Wilfried, when the duo played together in its early days. Saliba’s skills, physical strength and speed are all bonuses to his world class technical ability. In addition to that, he could be a cheap option and an investment to lure in Kylian Mbappe.
Should Real Madrid sign William Saliba despite him being unheard of among many?
