Real Madrid will approach France and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer and are willing to let go of three players in exchange of him.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been on Real Madrid’s radar since Zinedine Zidane’s arrival as the manager for a second stint. The French manager wants to bring his compatriot to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium during the summer and has hinted regarding an approach for the World Cup winner during the summer.

More from Real Madrid

Back in 2016, the Red Devils paid a world record fee of 89 million pounds to bring the former Juventus midfielder back to the Old Trafford and Paul Pogba’s only true self has been visible whilst he has started to play under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. That said, the Norwegian manager does regard Pogba highly and wants to hold onto him at any cost.

However, Real Madrid are going to revamp their midfield and see Paul Pogba’s arrival as a realistic aim alongside other targets like Adrien Rabiot and Christian Eriksen, especially amid claims that Toni Kroos and Casemiro might be leaving the club during the summer. In order to fend off interest from Los Merengues, Manchester United have now set a price tag on him.

The Red Devils value the 26-year-old at 180 million euros and will only consider offers if Real Madrid are willing to pay in excess of that prohibitive price tag. However, Florentino Perez is ready to deliver the best for Zinedine Zidane and he will try to involve one player from as many as three shortlisted by the manager, as per claims.

Gareth Bale is valued at 120 million euros by Real Madrid and has attracted interest from Manchester United lately, so that could bring Pogba’s cost down. James Rodriguez will mostly leave the club next season too and Manchester United could try to purchase him for 60 million, while Isco is tagged at 80 million euros though he is least likely to leave.

Is Paul Pogba the right fit at Real Madrid and should he be worth 180 million euros?
