Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus placed an unbelievable swap deal in front of Barcelona, but the Catalans and Lionel Messi have rejected it flatly.

Juventus winger Paulo Dybala has lately fallen down the pecking order and his roles have been limited following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugal international does not get along too well with La Joya and has demanded that Juventus sell him during the summer, possibly to Barcelona so that a swap deal can be materialized.

More from FC Barcelona

Just the way Cristiano Ronaldo has not been happy alongside Paulo Dybala, the former Palermo winger is also looking for an exit route from the Allianz Stadium after realising that his chances in Italy are numbered, especially given that Ronaldo is going to be in the team for a significant duration of time.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants Paulo Dybala to be sold to Barcelona so that Juventus can raise hefty funds, otherwise have a mouth-watering swap deal with the Catalans, where both sides will end up winning. With that said, Philippe Coutinho could be the player to go the other way if Dybala makes the switch to Italy.

The Brazil international is nearing the end of a horrible spell at Barcelona where the Catalans’ 142 million euros were clearly wasted. Philippe Coutinho has been the antonym of himself whilst at Liverpool and his departure from Barcelona is imminent during the summer after the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Malcom have overtaken him in the squad.

Barcelona value Philippe Coutinho at 160 million euros given that cash belted clubs like Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain want him, but Juventus could be stealing a march on their European rivals. Moreover, the Old Lady of Turin may not pay much cash because Dybala’s stock in the market is significantly high as well.

Barcelona will clearly be the beneficiary of this deal as they will get a star player in exchange of someone who has been virtually dead for them ever since he signed. However, Lionel Messi does not want Dybala at Juventus due to a bad relationship with him which has been clearly visible with the Argentinian national side.
