Lionel Messi tells Barcelona to steal Real Madrid’s galactico
Barcelona want to sign one of Real Madrid’s prime targets at any cost following a recommendation from their captain Lionel Messi.
Barcelona are going to go fiercely into the summer transfer window this year and want to rub more salt onto Real Madrid’s wounds of the 2018/19 campaign by purchasing the services of their arch rivals’ prime target. That comes from the mastermind of the team’s captain Lionel Messi who always has a say in Barcelona’s transfer matters.

Matthijs de Ligt has earned the right to be called as one of the world’s best central defenders and in addition to Barcelona and Real Madrid; Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus are also interested in signing him. However, Lionel Messi’s insistence and Barcelona’s urgency tips the balance in their favour.
Those at Barcelona in addition to Matthijs de Ligt believe that the potential new signing can partner Gerard Pique in the centre of defence whereas Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti can assume the responsibilities of the second choice of central partners. Who remains the fifth centre back for the next year still remains in question.
Jeison Murillo is almost a forgotten figure in the team and despite the option in his loan deal of Barcelona being able to make the contract permanent, the Catalans will probably not exercise it. Meanwhile, Jean-Clair Todibo is still very young and will go on loan next season in high likeliness. That means one of Barcelona’s youth products will occasionally make the team.
The Blaugrana currently sit eight points better of second placed Atletico Madrid in La Liga Santander and host Diego Simeone’s men in the Camp Nou on Saturday. Gerard Pique will come in for Samuel Umtiti at the back for this one. In the Champions League, Barcelona play the quarter finals against Manchester United while they already have a cup final in store versus Valencia.
Can Barcelona win the treble this season and be an even-more welcoming destination in the summer?
