Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is plotting a transfer for one of Italy’s finest and most experienced wingers, during this summer.

Real Madrid are closing in on the transfer of Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and it is only seeming to be a matter of time before Zinedine Zidane gets his prime target to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The French manager and the Whites are now reportedly keen on signing Lorenzo Insigne of Napoli against all odds and thoughts.

The Napoli right winger has been colossal for the Italian giants lately and his exploits have not gone unnoticed even by his country. However, Juventus’ domestic dominance has meant even the best of Napoli sides have been of less competition to the Old Lady of Turin, whose roster keeps getting better and better by every passing year.

Lorenzo Insigne, 28 years old now, has realised that he could have found the right time to bid farewell to his boyhood club to taste newer pastures. The Italian forward has been targeted by Liverpool and Manchester City in recent months, where Los Merengues have been looking at him as an option too.

The right winger who can also play as a central forward believes that Spain’s capital of Madrid would be the right destination of him, especially with the departures of Gareth Bale, Isco and Marco Asensio being proposed of late. However, Carlo Ancelotti considers the player to be of absolute importance and is reluctant in letting him leave San Paolo.

Some of Europe’s biggest teams have been hovering around Insigne now and it seems like he could be on the move during the summer. Hence, the Naples based club will listen to offers in excess of 100 million euros. While Insigne wants a Madrid transfer, the Whites consider him as a plan B to the likes of Eden Hazard, Neymar, Sadio Mane and Joao Felix.
