Mino Raiola will be subject to yet another transfer window…

When it comes to player agents, there aren’t many as notorious as Mino Raiola. He is known to work with some of the best players in the world, including Paul Pogba, Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Real Madrid is hoping they can use the agent to convince Pogba into a move to the Bernabeu, according to Marca.

In case you didn’t know, Raiola loves to make the headlines. This is because he always wants what’s best for his players and he feels no connection to the clubs in which his clients are playing at. This would undeniably work in Real Madrid’s favour if Raiola was to favour them over Manchester United.

Real Madrid needs a boost

More from Real Madrid

Things are beginning to look exciting again at Real Madrid. They have suffered throughout the majority of the season, however. Zinedine Zidane is back to save the day. Of course, he is planning to revamp the squad in the summer to add his own twist again.

Paul Pogba is a midfield powerhouse. He is very versatile, which allows him to fit into most systems in the world. However, he is best when it comes to moving the ball forward from midfield with urgency, encouraging his attacking teammates by taking on any opposing players. He also has a keen eye for the right pass or, at times, the right shot.

He has been spoken about in the same calibre as Luka Modric before. I still think Modric is a class above, but Pogba is all ears and willing to learn from the Croatia international. The two of them could form quite the deadly duo, even if it is short-lived due to Modric’s age.

The move would make sense for Paul Pogba

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gotten the best out of Pogba, questions remain over how consistent this will remain. Solskjaer is beginning to get exposed by teams in the Premier League and his attacking philosophy is at risk of being tarnished. If this is the case, then Pogba must move away since he cannot afford a Mourinho situation again.

Pogba is best when he is given the license to attack. He doesn’t like being shackled. While Zidane will certainly teach Pogba discipline, he will also allow the Frenchman to move the ball forward, which will only come as a positive for Pogba.

Do you think Paul Pogba would benefit from a move to Real Madrid?
