Eden Hazard isn’t taking no for an answer, he wants that move to Real Madrid…

Eden Hazard has suffered a dip in form lately, however, if his last match against West Ham is anything to go by, then he is back. He scored two impressive goals, one of them being a contender for goal of the season. Not only has he been a top of discussion on the pitch, but also off the pitch among the Real Madrid officials. They want him and they want him badly.

Rumours would have it that Hazard wants the move to the Bernabeu just as much. According to English outlet The Telegraph, the Belgian will not sign a new contract with Chelsea if they wish to reject any offers from Madrid. This seemed like it was obvious, however, now that it’s been revealed Chelsea may feel more inclined to listen to offers.

More from Real Madrid

Both Real Madrid and Chelsea are undergoing difficult seasons. However, it would appear that the Spanish capital is on the rise with Zinedine Zidane at the helm. The Frenchman has experience of working with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, while also being one of the greatest players of all time himself. If anyone can truly unlock Hazard’s potential, it’s Zidane.

Maurizio Sarri has tried, and credit where credit’s due, he’s made a better job out of Hazard than Antonio Conte did. However, the problem with Chelsea is deeper than just the manager and it could take many more seasons to sort out.

Another important factor to consider is that Chelsea will not be active in the transfer market this summer. They face a transfer ban which sees them out until 2020. The BBC revealed that FIFA had no plans to freeze the punishment, so it’s definitely set in stone. This means that, should Chelsea decide to sell Hazard, they won’t have the permission to sign a worthy replacement. This results in money lost should they allow Hazard to run his contract down, but money is the least important component in this situation.

Eden Hazard is one of the best players in the world. I think it goes without saying that he would benefit Real Madrid massively. He has plenty of flair and his creativity is unmatched. He just needs to work on being a little more selfish, however, this was shown against West Ham so he could be working on it.

Do you think Real Madrid should sign Eden Hazard?
