However, the Red Devils are reportedly planning a stunning swoop for a man still regarded very highly at the Old Trafford- Cristiano Ronaldo- according to claims. The Portuguese international’s first year at Juventus will see him only win the Serie A of note as his side was kicked out of the UEFA Champions League by a resolute Ajax Amsterdam.

Cristiano Ronaldo knows that 2019 is not going to be his year on the Ballon d’Or podium and risks seeing Barcelona captain and arch rival Lionel Messi lift the prestigious trophy for the sixth time in his career, one ahead of himself. There were multiple faults at Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo single-handedly tried to pull them in front but to not great result.

Manchester United are offering a transfer fee of 130 million euros to Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo’s services and will be offering him a handsome wage as they seek to offer him a return to the Old Trafford before he hangs his boots up. However, the decision will rest on Cristiano- who has three more years to run on his contract at Juventus.
