Barcelona look to involve Philippe Coutinho in stunning swap deal
Barcelona are studying the option of involving Philippe Coutinho in a swap deal with one of the Premier League’s giants in order to lure a prime target.
Barcelona is exploring the possibility of signing Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford during the summer, as per Fox Sport. The England international has enjoyed a blockbuster season at the Old Trafford but with his current contract due to expire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign and a new one yet to be penned, the Catalans are looking to pounce into their advantage.

The Red Devils are showing intense reluctance in selling their prized asset, but Barcelona is looking to persuade them nonetheless by proposing a handsome looking swap deal. The Catalans are considering a transfer which could see Philippe Coutinho leave the club during the summer.
Manchester United have shown interest in signing the former Inter Milan winger in the past, but his connections to Liverpool have always been a thorn in their attempts. However, this time out, Philippe Coutinho could be offloaded after failing to impress at Catalonia in over a year. Yet, if he does not prefer moving to the Old Trafford, Malcom may be brought into the deal.
Hence, instead of Philippe Coutinho making the switch, it could be Tottenham target Malcom who might end up in the north of England. Knowing how desperately Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side needs a winger, Malcom’s involvement in a swap deal could be enticing for the Norwegian, but not without a heavy sum of money being exchanged.
There is modest practicability that Marcus Rashford may be available at the cheap during the summer if he fails to put pen to paper on a new deal by then, but the Red Devils will continue probing and try holding onto him. Moreover, the Englishman may be hesitant in going to the Camp Nou as he could have to play second fiddle to Luis Suarez or adapt to an uncomfortable left winger’s role.
