Real Madrid has learned the price tag for one of the most surprising players that were targeted by them for a transfer in the summer.

Real Madrid is plotting a squad overhaul this summer and are certain to tinker with their midfield. Toni Kroos has been associated with a transfer to Manchester City lately whereas it has been speculated that a convincing offer for Luka Modric may be able to entice Zinedine Zidane into selling the defending winner of the Ballon d’Or.

With that said, Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen are two players that have been the subject of rumours regarding a move to the Spanish capital. The two Premier League superstars have a price tag in excess of 100 million euros. While Eriksen could be signed on the cheap given the nearness of his contract expiry, Pogba is going to cost a bomb.

Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of the Manchester United midfielder, but the club does not seem to accord with the feelings of the Frenchman. Another name which is on the wish list of Real Madrid is that of Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic. The former Roma man has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Stadium of late.

Juventus’ knocking out from the Champions League signalled a large number of problems in the engine room and with changes expected, Miralem Pjanic could be amongst those offloaded, according to a claim by Fox Sports. The Old Lady has already managed to sign Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer effective from the summer while Kroos, Isco and Pogba are targets for them.

The 29-year-old has now been slapped with a price tag of 130 million euros and Real Madrid is one of the parties interested along with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. However, a sum of 100 million euros may be enough to lure Juventus into selling ‘the pianist’ as Pjanic is nicknamed by the Turin faithful.

Should Real Madrid prioritize on Miralem Pjanic in case Toni Kroos ends up leaving this summer?
