Manchester United legend slams Paul Pogba for being a “problem”

Roy Keane knows what it’s like to run the Manchester United midfield…
Manchester United is in a sticky situation right now. They find themselves falling further and further adrift of the top four, and with them being eliminated by every competition this season, finishing in the top four was there only hope of qualifying for the Champions League. With Arsenal and Chelsea both in terrible form, there is still a chance, but they must win every remaining game and hope that their rivals slip up to give them a favour.
Following from their Manchester derby defeat yesterday, Roy Keane had some strong words to describe the Old Trafford boys. In a post-match analysis with Sky Sports, the former Manchester United skipper slammed Paul Pogba for being a “big problem.” He even went as far as to say the whole squad was full of “bluffers.”

Manchester City has turned over a number of sides this season, so should United worry about losing to them? The answer is no. However, should they worry about their performance during the match? Yes, they probably should. They started the match off well, always probing the City defence and most particularly Vincent Kompany.
Pogba was key to this, of course, making sure the passes were being strung in the midfield. However, the performance soon went downhill and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lost track of the game, not being able to control his players and Pep Guardiola took advantage of that.
In fairness, no result of this match would have been good for United. The players probably knew that. However, Keane is a man of tradition. He came from the days where United was the best club in the world. His train of thought would be “you got yourself in this mess, you just have to keep winning.”
Liverpool and Manchester City continue their title race, with the Citizens leading the chase. It’s not a good position for United fans to be in, however, the squad should use it as motivation. Solskjaer is not one to rest on his laurels so he will be bringing players in during the summer. It’s just a case of listening to the criticism brought to them by experienced legends.
Do you think Roy Keane was just in his criticism of the United players?
