Real Madrid are looking to make a statement in the market by signing a footballer who has been thought to make Lionel Messi afraid.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is on a mission of signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian has talked of his desire to play next to Eden Hazard, and with the Belgium international’s move to Madrid seemingly inevitable, the Spain capital could be the perfect destination for both the wingers to ply their trade alongside one another.

However, the club’s manager Zinedine Zidane is not too interested or upbeat about the prospect of signing the ex-Barcelona forward Neymar. Rather than bringing in the 27-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu, Zidane feels that Mohamed Salah’s potential move to Real Madrid could be a lot more fruitful and beneficial to the Whites.
According to Fox Sports, the rumour has not gone down too well in the ears of Lionel Messi who is thought to be “afraid” of Mohamed Salah. The Barcelona captain thinks that Salah is bound for a better long-term future because of his focus towards football and not on off-field antiques like a certain former teammate now in Paris.
Lionel Messi was thought to have suggested Mohamed Salah’s name to Barcelona who are eyeing the signing of a winger, but the Catalans have been obliged into paying Liverpool 115 million euros in excess of the original value after an agreement between the clubs following Philippe Coutinho’s signing last winter. Hence, the move is realistically put off.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are looking for goal scoring options and think that Mo Salah could satisfy their cravings to find the back of the net and more so, with Gareth Bale set to depart. However, Jurgen Klopp stands in the middle and Mohamed Salah is already in Liverpool’s hall-of-fame and is beating records at will, thus making chances of a move to Madrid slightly bleak.
Do you think Mohamed Salah will accept the chance to play at Real Madrid?
