Real Madrid have been asked to pay through their nose if they are to make a move for an ex-Barcelona superstar during the summer.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is going to have a productive summer on the transfer front and will sign a lot of star names as he looks to propel the Whites back to the top after a choppy season. Some players on the Frenchman’s agendas include Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, while Florentino Perez also sees Neymar as an attractive option.

More from Real Madrid

The Paris Saint-Germain forward has been on the Los Blancos’ radar ever since departing Barcelona for newer pastures in France and they were even close to formulating a move for him last summer following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. That said, this season they are open to negotiating with PSG as well especially after their failures.

Paris Saint-Germain were sent crashing out of the Champions League in the round of 16 by Manchester United and also lost to Rennes in the Coupe de France Final some weeks ago. They did win the Ligue 1 title, but it is more or less an obligation for them every season given the mediocrity of the first division in France.

According to Fox Sports, Neymar is open to moving back to Spain after realising that Paris Saint-Germain’s project may not end up taking him to where he aspires to get. Real Madrid seems like a hot destination for him knowing that they are known to dominate Europe, but he always wants to rub it into Barcelona’s face for denying him a return last summer.

Zinedine Zidane’s side has reportedly already talked to Paris Saint-Germain, who are demanding 200 million euros plus a player from Real Madrid- Vinicius Junior. However, the Merengues are only willing to pay 100 million euros but are absolutely fine with letting go of Vinicius in case they end up getting their targeted player.

Whether Zinedine Zidane will welcome Neymar to Madrid remains to be seen, but it is certain that he may not be happy with Florentino Perez letting go of Vinicius. The coach regards Vinicius Junior highly and especially with a 19-year-old prospect, who may lead the club shortly ready to be dispatched to Paris, the gaffer may ask the president to think again.
