After yet another torrid season both on and off the pitch, Manchester United are in need of yet another rebuild during the upcoming transfer window.

Manchester United are rotten to the core with problems existing at every level from the boardroom to the dressing room. In recent seasons, United fans have seen rivals Manchester City and Liverpool eclipse them, and they are now on a completely different another level. While the Red Devils are still stuck in the past and another campaign in the Europa League awaits for them next season.

A big problem with the current Manchester United squad is that a lot of the players simply aren’t good enough to be at the club. And the few who are good enough often look disinterested and act more like mercenaries than players who care about the club.

If United want to move forward and challenge for the Premier League title again, a number of these players must be moved on. But the problem is that a lot of these players are on big, fat contracts which will make it very difficult to sell them.

Another concern is whether the combination of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager and no Champions League football will be enough to attract players that are needed to lead the club back to its glory days. But if United are serious about regaining their place at the top of English football once again, they cannot afford to delay this overhaul any longer.

So with all that in mind, here we take a look at which first team players should stay and which players should be let go in the summer.
