With Gareth Bale set to leave the club, Real Madrid will be looking at Arsenal to fill the Welshman’s void during this summer.
Real Madrid are looking to add as many top players as possible during this summer’s transfer window. Signing players like Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Christian Eriksen is on the agenda, but they are replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo, Mariano Diaz and Luka Modric respectively. Zinedine Zidane also wants a fill-in for Gareth Bale.

The Wales international has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Merengues’ manager and will search for greener pastures during the summer. Signing Sadio Mane was on the agenda for the Whites’ manager, but Liverpool would be reluctant in letting him go and would charge an extortionate transfer fee nevertheless.
Los Blancos do not want spend in excess of 100 million euros to sign Gareth Bale’s replacement, simply because the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder would not yield that much to them. And hence, Zinedine Zidane feels that signing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be a great option, as per Fox Sports.
Aubameyang has been magnificent for the Gunners since arriving at the Emirates Stadium back in January 2018. This season, he was one of the Premier League’s top goal scorers which is evidence to his prowess in front of the sticks. That said, his transfer worth is estimated to be 85 million euros- an amount well within budget for a prime player.
The Gabon international has a contract in north London until June 2021 but he has been vocal of his desire of playing with Real Madrid since his Borussia Dortmund days. Zidane would happily sign him, but the question remains on whether he can continue to play on the flanks, because there will be enough depth in the centre once Luka Jovic is signed.
Would Aubameyang be able to fit in on a wing if Real Madrid manage to sign him?
