As Real Madrid begin to gather speed in their bid to close in on signings, a deal has been agreed to sign a top target for 150 million pounds.

The Premier League is done and dusted as Manchester United managed a sixth place finish. The Red Devils missed out on a Champions League spot and all of their players will automatically get a salary reduction of 25%. The likes of Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez will be the most affected, but the former may head to Real Madrid even before the club starts paying out subsidized wages.

More from Real Madrid

The Whites are keener than ever to sign the France international and will look to take maximum advantage of Manchester United’s failure in making the top four. That being said, Zinedine Zidane is planning to get rid of Toni Kroos, who is possibly going to Manchester City and feels that Paul Pogba would be the ideal replacement for the Germany international.

According to Fox Sports, the Old Trafford outlet has already set a price tag of 150 million pounds on the World Cup winner and would be willing to sell his services to Real Madrid during the summer. However, Pogba’s demands from the defending European champions will be exorbitant as he would demand 500,000 pounds per week as his wage.

Meanwhile, Los Merengues should consider giving Paul Pogba’s potential signing a second thought because of his conduct and attitude. The former Juventus midfielder has a propensity to display most of his life on social media, and that addiction definitely takes away a lot of his capabilities and Pogba is unable to perform in matches.

Furthermore, Christian Eriksen’s statistics are a lot more enticing than Paul Pogba’s over the last few seasons. The Denmark international’s contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in June 2020 and so the Lilywhites may have little options than to sell him should he not pen a new deal. Madrid may get him for 120 million euros, much cheaper than Pogba.

Between Christian Eriksen and Paul Pogba, who would be your preferred signing?
