One of Jurgen Klopp’s prized possessions, Roberto Firmino is being targeted by PSG and Thomas Tuchel of Ligue One.

Roberto Firmino makes up one-third of Liverpool’s deadly front three, but it is being reported by beIN Sports that,

"Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino, according to the BBC. However, the Reds have no interest in selling the Brazilian or any of their big-name players this summer."

The move makes sense for Paris Saint-Germain as Edison Cavani is not getting any younger, and they could use a talisman in between Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. Tuchel will try to use fellow Brazilians Neymar and Dani Alves to do some recruiting for him here, but it will not be an easy job.

It is key that Bobby Firmino loves Liverpool, and many fans as well as pundits do not expect him to leave, or Liverpool to let him. Firmino is often considered the gear that really makes Liverpool turn their wheels. Without him at the helm, it is like trying to drive a brand new Maserati without the engine inside of it, the car is still beautiful and pristine, but there is no go about it.

Also, it seems as though the Bobby Dazzler is at home on Merseyside, having signed a five-year extension last summer and being very good friends with teammates Alberto Moreno, Fabinho, and Alisson Becker.

His wife Lari also got in on showing the love she has for the club in this Instagram post after Liverpool’s annual lap of honor after the last Premier League game against Wolves. Translated, she says “What a club! What a team! What a crowd! . . . Our friends have turned into family. I love every single one of you”.

While PSG think they might be able to just go in and swoop up Roberto Firmino, it looks like it will be a lot harder than expected, because before they even get to him, they have to go through Jurgen Klopp. Klopp has been quoted by the Mirror before saying,

"“Mo Salah, world class, but not every day. Sadio Mane, world class, but not every day. Roberto Firmino, world class, pretty much every day”."

If anything, this transfer rumor looks like one to throw out the window, especially given Liverpool’s European success as of late. Do not expect the Reds number nine to be going anywhere too soon.
