Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is in Paris to negotiate a transfer for the club’s top target who has also been on the radar of other European giants of late.
Following a horrid campaign, Real Madrid are going to have a productive transfer window this summer. The Whites have been looking at exorbitant players like Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen. Other players such as Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic and Ajax Amsterdam’s Donny van de Beek are prime targets too.

That being said, Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a raid on Paris Saint-Germain. Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are on their shopping list and a move for the former could even go ahead during the summer. The French champions’ outcast and contract rebel Adrien Rabiot is also on the radar of the European Champions who are seeking to refurbish their engine room.
Adrien Rabiot has not made an appearance for PSG since months now and it is inevitable that he will be on the books of some other club next year. Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool were the three other parties credited with interest in the Frenchman, but interest from the two Champions League finalists and the Catalans as well has cooled down.
Reportedly via Fox Sports, Adrien Rabiot is on the radar of Real Madrid still and Florentino Perez is in Paris to negotiate his signing. The Real Madrid president understands Zidane’s demands for a player like Pogba or Eriksen, but personally Perez has no intention of missing out on a great midfielder who is available for free.
In Real Madrid’s favour, there is the fact that Adrien Rabiot has barely any other suitors and so he is not in a position to bargain for a better salary. That way, the Whites could lure him into Spain’s capital for a nominal wage as well. Adrien Rabiot is a versatile midfielder and could be an asset to the Merengues irrespective of his conduct in Paris.
How good an addition would Adrien Rabiot be to Real Madrid on a scale of 1 to 5?
