He is Manchester United’s record signing after all…

Manchester United broke the world record a couple of seasons ago when they re-signed Paul Pogba from Juventus. He was once their academy star but he turned into their club record signing when Jose Mourinho signed him for £89m. Obviously, the world record has since been broke by Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the English outlet Daily Star, United will not ask for Neymar‘s fee. Phew. Anyway, they have reported that Pogba’s valuation from his club is £138m. It’s still more than loose change, if we’re being honest.

More from Manchester United

In case you didn’t know, the likes of Real Madrid are rumoured to be interested in signing Pogba. And rightly so, given that he is one of the best midfielders in the world and is only going to improve with age.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the new manager of Manchester United and he’s doing a lot better than Jose Mourinho. Still, with United playing in the Europa League next season, Pogba will be searching for better in order to reach his true potential.

Pogba is a determined player and he always wants what is best for his career. This winning mentality is greatly helped by his agent Mino Raiola, who will not be shy to pull his client away from United if he feels like the club is detrimental to Pogba’s growth.

Pogba has played alongside the likes of Andrea Pirlo, N’Golo Kante and Michael Carrick during his short career. That said, he has more than enough experience to play at the Santiago Bernabeu or any top-end European club. It will all come down to who will be willing to pay the £138m fee.

Whoever signs Paul Pogba will be getting a gem in their side. Pogba is a very attack-minded midfielder, often using his skills on the ball to carry his team forward. He is able to unlock defences with his through balls and he also has a killer shot in his locker.
