While Jurgen Klopp is trying to bolster his side’s offensive line from the bench, the answer could be right in front of him, and his name is Rhian Brewster.
The youngster Rhian Brewster has spent all of this year recovering from injury and making his way back in Premier League 2, finishing his year with a goal and an assist in just two appearances for the U-23’s. Brewster also went on to hit a stunning goal in a game for the side just under a month ago.
Liverpool and Klopp have been linked with some very significant signings already this summer, but many have noted that they do not expect Klopp to go out and spend a lot of money in this transfer window. He has previously said he is happy with the squad he has in place and has many options in the youth academy to pick from.

Rhian will clearly be one of those players next year. With Daniel Sturridge possibly leaving the club, it leaves a gaping hole for the 19-year-old to make his impact in the first team. For the past couple years, Liverpool has struggled to bring on talented forwards late in games or to rotate the squad just because of a lack of depth.
The English forward could change all of that, and be a very useful backup to the likes of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. From Liverpool content, it is also clear to see the player already has great chemistry with the senior team, especially midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The two have a longstanding “bromance” after recovering from long injuries together this year, and both making comebacks into their respective teams.

Adding Brewster to the matchday squad will almost be like adding a new player, and will surely save Jurgen Klopp some money in the transfer market. After spending a hefty amount to improve his side last year, he will be looking for ways to save this time around. Expect big things from this young prospect next year for the Merseyside team.
