Eden Hazard claimed his motivation for a move is to experience a new challenge, however the Belgian has already starred in Ligue 1 winning the league with Lille, before Paris Saint Germain’s dominance.

It is unlikely that he will turn out for the Parisian club given that factor alone and the reports of a fractious dressing room cannot help the attraction.

The reports of divisions between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar has been largely attributed to the club’s poor end of season form. However, incidents of indiscipline from the pair and the club’s threat of Financial Fair Play sanctions may force the club to sell one of their star men, or even both.

That could lead to PSG forcing a bid through for one of the world stars in the game to replace their departing superstar and continue their brand and quest for Champions League trophies and domestic dominance.

Chances – Very unlikely – After starring in Ligue One at the start of his career, he is unlikely to return to France as he seeks new challenges. Given that he has already won the championship, he hasn’t got any unfinished business in the French league.

PSG are likely to be interested in his acquisition but whether they can afford him given the FFP shortcomings and the possibility of the Qatari owners reducing or withdrawing funds, the deal looks close to zero.
