Real Madrid will surely announce Eden Hazard soon
By Kian Long
Real Madrid fans will be refreshing their social media feeds, and rightly so…
The long-awaited arrival of Eden Hazard seems to be imminent. It was reported yesterday by The Guardian that Real Madrid and Chelsea had agreed on a fee around £88m for his services. This is the ideal fee for both clubs since Madrid will get him cheap but Chelsea will also cash in on him considering he has one year remaining on his contract.
Eden Hazard is one of the best players in the world, there’s no way that can be disputed. This is why it’s essential to his career that he plays for a club that can compete at the top level. Chelsea lifted the Europa League this season, however, it doesn’t look likely that they are ready to compete in the Champions League just yet.

With Zinedine Zidane at the helm for Real Madrid again, he will be hoping to bring Champions League glory back to the Santiago Bernabeu. When he was last in charge, he lifted the European honour in three consecutive seasons.
This transfer is beneficial for Real Madrid since they can finally get back to playing the way they used to with Cristiano Ronaldo. While Hazard is sometimes criticised for being unselfish, with the right manager and capable players around him, he will show many signs of independence and fill the void left by Ronaldo’s departure last summer.
Chelsea will inevitably miss Hazard. He was their best player for many seasons, although he was sometimes inconsistent. Still, his departure will make room for other upcoming stars to prove their worth.
Callum Hudson-Odoi impressed in the Europa League win this season and he will be looking to fight back again next season after injury. Additionally, Christian Pulisic recently arrived following a long-awaited transfer, so he will be willing to make a name for himself in Chelsea blue.
