What is Real Madrid thinking?

According to Sport English, Real Madrid has reportedly taken their eye of PSG forward and Brazilian National, Neymar and have diverted their focus towards his teammate Kylian Mbappe. Even though the World Class status is associated with Neymar, the Club is not too keen on snapping him, at least for now.

However, what’s more important to note is that Real Madrid doesn’t want to risk with Neymar, given his recent controversies, the most recent one being a rape acquisition. While Neymar’s on-field exploits is an asset for any team to possess, it’s his personal life that Real Madrid doesn’t want to risk with. As per the Real Madrid Paper, the club is worried about Neymar not settling in with the Club dynamics, if they do make the signing.

More from Real Madrid

Neymar’s agent, Wagner Ribero met with Perez in Madrid about a week ago to discuss Neymar’s future but much to his displeasure, the possibility of Neymar at the Bernabeu was eliminated.

It is clear that the Real Madrid think-tank do not want to tamper with their Club’s reputation and more so, with the uncertainty surrounding Neymar’s future, if he does get convicted for the offence. While this move by the club may come as a shocker to few, considering the disastrous season that they had, it should prove to be a good move in the future.

As far as their rebuilding progress is concerned, as per reports, Real Madrid is keen on investing on the youth rather than the likes of Eden Hazard, Jovic and Mendy. However, their primary interest may lie with Mbappe although the deal looks a very tough one to crack, if not impossible.

While many fans who were anticipating the much-awaited move of the Brazilian International to the Los Blancos, Real Madrid management might have just saved them from a future embarrassment. It’s highly difficult to comment any further on the ongoing situation surrounding Neymar, but this should give a hint regarding his future, at Real Madrid.
