Real Madrid has plenty of options, however, they’ll still feel dejected…
The summer transfer window is set to be a busy one. There are many players being linked with moves away and many clubs needing to rebuild. Real Madrid is one of those clubs after suffering a poor season. Zinedine Zidane is at the helm now and he is not one to take any prisoners, so expect their transfer window to remain strong.
They recently announced the signings of Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard, two very strong names that will add to their front line. However, they have also been in the market for a midfielder. According to AS, though, Manchester United man Paul Pogba won’t be available.

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for some time after it seemed he was unsettled at Old Trafford. It’s not hard to see why following their switch of managers and finishing outside of the Premier League top four.
Luckily for Real Madrid fans though, there are plenty of options out there for Zidane to consider. One of them being Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen. It was always a toss-up between Pogba and Eriksen anyway, so this wouldn’t be seen as a panic buy from Los Blancos.
Eriksen is very similar to Pogba in some ways, however, for an easier comparison, he is similar to Luka Modric‘s playing style. Both like to bring the ball forward and contribute to their sides’ attacking play through either intricate passes or killer through balls.
It was thought earlier in the week that Manchester United had an interest in Eriksen, so Real Madrid would need to act quick. However, many have drawn the conclusion that United saw Eriksen as a replacement for Pogba, so if they are no longer willing to sell him, then it could be an easy path for Madrid. Well, as easy as it gets where Daniel Levy is involved.
Do you think Real Madrid should sign Christian Eriksen?
