Eden Hazard and Zinedine Zidane have asked Real Madrid to lock in on one of Europe’s most lethal frontmen to complete an attacking trio.

Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard is yet to attend even a training session with his new side, but it looks like he has already made friends with his manager Zinedine Zidane. Hazard always idolized Zidane, while the Frenchman was always in awe of the Belgium international and now, they will be working together as it was inevitable since quite a few months.

More from Real Madrid

The Whites signing Eden Hazard was the biggest transfer of the window, but Luka Jovic and Rodrygo Goes also have big expectations to fulfil at the club. Whether the Serb and Brazilian frontmen will be starters right from the off remains to be seen but Zidane’s options in the attack are plenty as there are other names like Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez capable of playing in those roles.

That said, Gareth Bale and Mariano Diaz are expected to be the two main casualties of the transfer window this summer so it is frugal to count them out of the candidacy anyway. Bale’s departure would mean that Los Merengues lack a right winger, and Hazard as well as Zidane feel that Liverpool’s Sadio Mane would be a super signing to replace the Welshman, as per Diario GOL.

Sadio Mane’s electrifying pace and goal scoring prowess will be beneficial to Real Madrid’s counter-attacking gameplay. Moreover, the Senegal international is a selfless player who does not take too long to link-up with newer names. Usually a left winger at Liverpool, Mane can also play on the right- a flank which he occupied during his Southampton days. Mane could be persuaded into joining Madrid, but Liverpool would be notorious dealers.

Jurgen Klopp considers Sadio Mane indispensable, but as per previous claims he would be willing to let go of him in case the Reds can land one of Marco Asensio, Ousmane Dembele or Philippe Coutinho. Nonetheless, Madrid would have to spend over 150 million euros to sign the Senegal international if they want to do so in the near future.

Do you see a trio of Mane-Jovic-Hazard at Real Madrid anytime soon?
