Most of the Real Madrid fans are on crossroads regarding the arrival of only one of Pogba or Eriksen, but new signing Eden Hazard knows who he wants.

Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea last month for a rumoured sum of 80 million euros. The Belgium international completed a highly anticipated and imminent move to the Santiago Bernabeu and the transfer fee which Los Blancos paid for him seems to be a bargain considering the player’s quality and calibre.

More from Real Madrid

The Whites may not be done with their invasion of the Premier League after all as they are still evaluating the signings of Christian Eriksen, Sadio Mane and Paul Pogba. While signing the Senegal international is on hold for the time being, Kovacic’s sale has meant that Perez will fasten his pursuit for either of the midfielder.

As reported by Diario GOL, Eden Hazard has now told Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane that he prefers to have Christian Eriksen at Real Madrid over Paul Pogba. The Manchester United midfielder’s antiques have not impressed many, but now that he is closer to a return to Juventus than a transfer to Real Madrid, Eriksen is the next best alternative.

Florentino Perez first wants to get rid of some players to gain cash before opening the chequebook once again. Real Madrid have already sold off Marcos Llorente and Mateo Kovacic, but the bigger sales of James Rodriguez and possibly Gareth Bale would help Madrid in having a greater amount of cash in hand as well as a better wage budget.

Christian Eriksen has been told by Real Madrid that they will pursue a transfer for him, but that he will have to wait for 15 more days until Los Merengues’ finances come back in order. The Danish midfielder though, wants clarity over his future prior to the 10th of July otherwise he would be completely okay with staying in north London.
