Real Madrid and Manchester United are doing whatever is in their power for Paul Pogba. Los Blancos are desperate to secure the services of the World Cup winner and the Red Devils seem to be adamant on not letting their key man leave.
Zinedine Zidane has reportedly made it evident to the club’s president, Florentino Perez, that he wants Pogba at the club for the upcoming season and 13 time Champions League winners are trying to convince the Manchester club to let go of the Frenchman by tempting them with an audacious player plus cash deal. Manchester United, though reluctant to let Pogba leave, wont consider listening to any offers that don’t match the players valuation at €170 million.

As per reports from Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid, though desperate to secure the services of Pogba, aren’t really willing to dig deep into their pockets by paying the full amount that United have valued him at. They’re instead, willing to offer cash plus either Isco or Gareth Bale in a player plus cash deal. The Madrid club who were previously willing to pay close to €150 million for the player now seem to be a bit reluctant and have offered Manchester United a sum of €80 million plus either of Isco or Bale in order to tempt United into letting Pogba leave.
Paul Pogba, on the other hand, has been vocal about his desire to look for a new challenge and wold be interested in a move away from the Old Trafford this summer. The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, has also officially stated that everyone at the club is aware about Pogba’s intention to leave and that they are currently working on a move away from Manchester United, as per Times. Gareth Bale and Isco are supposedly deemed to be surplus to requirements at Real Madrid and manager Zidane seems to be willing to give them up if it means that they can get the World cup winner to play for them.
Manchester United fly to Perth for their pre-season tour on Monday and expect to have Pogba with them. The player who extended his vacation after a hectic season that was followed by successful world cup campaign, is yet to be back with the squad. It is believed that he will hand in a transfer request as soon as he returns and that is just what Real Madrid are waiting for. They want to be sure of Pogba’s intentions to leave the club and then only will they officially submit an offer for the player. Manchester United have also turned down an offer from Juventus who, as per Metro, offered €70 million plus Paolo Dybala, Alex Sandro or Blaise Matuidi in exchange for Pogba.
Will Manchester United fend off all the interest from Madrid and Juventus to convince Pogba to stay at the club or will their star man depart before the new season commences?
