Manchester United turn down two players being offered to them by Italian giants
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is on the lookout for a new club after he seems to have fallen down the pecking order at the club with boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer preferring to play Marcus Rashford upfront instead of the Belgian forward. The club’s no.9 has attracted interests from clubs in Italy with Inter Milan being the front runners in the chase for Lukaku and Serie A champions Juventus also seem to have approached the Red Devils regarding the player.
Romelu Lukaku has had a dip in form and after losing his spot in the starting XI, the forward would not be wanting to play second fiddle to youngster Marcus Rashford and seems keen to switch to the Nerazzurri. Inter Milan are more than willing to secure the services of the Belgian but are falling behind on the funds. With both the parties being in favor of the switch, the move seems likely to happen.

Manchester United are demanding a sum of €85 million in order to let Lukaku depart but Inter are looking to offer somewhere around €60 million. As per La Repubblica, Inter Milan does not consider superstars Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan as a part of their project anymore. Manager Antonio Conte doesn’t seem two have the two players in his plans anymore and this opens a window for the Italian club to make up of the money that they’re falling behind by. The news outlet also reports that the club has offered the two players to Manchester United in order to persuade them into selling the Belgian forward.
However, the Manchester club has reportedly rejected both, the Argentine forward and the Belgian Midfielder and don’t seem to be interested in including the Inter Milan players in their squad for the upcoming seasons. This makes things more tough for Inter Milan who need to raise funds in order to sign Lukaku. Manchester United are also facing a tough situation when it comes to star man Paul Pogba, as Juventus and Real Madrid want to sign the Frenchman. Despite all the transfer rumors surrounding Lukaku and Pogba, both the players have been included in Manchester United’s tour squad as they travel to Australia for theri pre-season games.
