Paris Saint-Germain are preparing themselves as they seem to believe that their star forward Neymar will depart the club in the coming weeks. A lot of rumors have been doing the rounds regarding Neymar wanting a move back to Barcelona and in the event that happens, PSG see a need to sign a replacement despite the abundance of talent in their squad. This has led them to consider a move for one of Pep Guardiola’s star men.
Sport report that PSG is considering a list of players to replace the Brazilian forward and at the top of that list sits Manchester City forward Leroy Sane. Sane’s future with Man City seems to be uncertain as the player is yet to renew his contract with the club and given that situation the Ligue 1 champions believe they may have an upper hand in getting the German winger to sign for them and form the part of an attack consisting of Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani.

Le Rouge et Bleu had tried to sign Sane while he was at Schalke, but the player eventually decided to make the move to PSG’s ‘financial rivals’, Manchester City. Sane has played a crucial role in the City attack since he made the switch to the English club in 2016 but has never been a permanent fixture for the club with manager Pep Guardiola constantly rotating his squad given the number of players in attack available to him. This may be one of the reasons for Sane to consider a move and look for a club where he will play majority of the games.
Manchester City are trying to get Sane to extend with the club however there are rumors of Bayern Munich wanting to secure the German international’s services. Bayern are even considering Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as an option as the Bavarian club seeks replacements for Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery. Sane is currently valued at a staggering £90 million and Bayern may not be willing to spend so much on one player.
PSG on the other hand would earn a hefty sum with the sale of Neymar and would be in a better position to sign Sane. Manchester City would be willing to cash in on the player if they receive the right offer and currently PSG seems like the most likely destination for Sane if he opts to leave the Premier League champions.
Will Sane feature for the Parisians next summer or will he opt to remain at Man City?
