Sergio Ramos forces Real Madrid to sell superstar for cheap to prevent dressing room feuds
Gareth Bale is not in anybody’s good books at Real Madrid it seems because even Sergio Ramos wants him to be sold at any cost now.
Real Madrid have had one of their most productive summers in recent years. Luka Jovic’s highly anticipated signing was followed up with the procurement of Eden Hazard from Chelsea, a move that was inevitable. Ferland Mendy also arrived from Olympique Lyon and previously signed players in Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao were unveiled before the fans.

Zinedine Zidane also got rid of several players. Marcos Llorente and Mateo Kovacic were the two notable casualties as they permanently transferred to Atletico Madrid and Chelsea respectively. Sergio Reguilon and Martin Odegaard left on loans to Sevilla and Real Sociedad apiece while Theo Hernandez sealed a move to AC Milan.
James Rodriguez’s departure could be next amid interest from Napoli and Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid will be ready to sell the Colombia international for roughly 50 million euros. However, their main objective is to get rid of Gareth Bale. The Welshman has been amazing for the club during his five seasons, but injuries and a poor attitude have seen him fall in Zidane’s eyes.
Currently, nobody is really interested in signing him because of the 80 million euros’ price tag that has been slapped on him. According to Fox Sports, several Real Madrid players are asking Florentino Perez to let the former Tottenham Hotspur winger leave at a cut-price deal in the range of 60 million euros so as to ignore any sorts of dressing room fractures.
Gareth Bale is consuming an annual wage bill of 17 million euros at the Santiago Bernabeu but doing practically nothing to justify what is being paid to him. Other contributors like Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema are on a lesser package and are rated much higher than Bale by Zidane. It’s best that the Whites somehow find a way to part with the Welsh Wizard who is not as good anymore as he was thought to be.
