Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is thought to be content with his current squad, but wants two more players to be gone for during the summer.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane will be welcoming as many as at least five players into his roster for the start of the upcoming La Liga campaign. Eden Hazard’s featuring in the line-up is widely expected, but a lot of fans are even excited with the prospect of seeing Luka Jovic play. Ferland Mendy is a great player, but his role may be limited behind Marcelo and Rodrygo Goes as well as Eder Militao would not have too many minutes under their belts either.

Among several sales that have been made, Los Blancos have earned a significant amount of cash and Zinedine Zidane is eyeing further spending of a reported 280 million euros, as per Diario GOL. With Gareth Bale’s future looming over the horizon and Luka Modric entering what could be his final year in his prime, Zidane wants a midfielder and right winger.
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is the Frenchman’s priority. Mino Raiola has revealed that his client is seeking an exit from the Old Trafford this summer and Real Madrid have been placed in an A1 position alongside Juventus by the bookies. The Red Devils value Paul Pogba at 150 million euros, meaning that Madrid will have to break their transfer record to sign him.
Liverpool frontman Sadio Mane is the other name on Zidane’s wish-list. The Senegalese superstar could be a contender for the Balon d’Or having guided his nation to an AFCON Final in addition to winning the Champions League and the Golden Boot in the Premier League. The Merseyside club may be reluctant in selling him, but if Madrid make a good offer nothing can be said.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to be okay with the prospect of letting Sadio Mane leave the Anfield and Liverpool are valuing him at 140 million euros. Real Madrid, who are keen on completing an attacking trident would be ready to pay that kind of money but will initially offer Marco Asensio in the deal to lower Liverpool’s asking price. The Majorcan is not living up to expectations and may be offloaded amid interest from Liverpool if it were to mean a swap deal involving Mane.
