Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara says Bayern Munich’s doors would be open for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale…
Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has been linked with a potential move to German champions Bayern Munich. The Welshman has not performed up to expectations and this has led boss Zinedine Zidane to sideline him. Bale was left out of the squad that played Bayern Munich in Houston which the Germans won 3-1. As per BBC, in the post match press conference, Zidane had the following to say about Gareth Bale :
"” We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team. I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done. “"
Bale still has 3 years left on his contract with Real Madrid but given the sour relationship with Zidane, the Welshman seems set to depart the club and is linked to various clubs like Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs and even the Chinese Super League. A potential move to Bayern Munich also now seems to be on the table after the Bavarians midfielder Thiago Alcanatara and boss Niko Kovac called Bale a ‘great player’ therefore indicating that Bayern would consider making a move for the Los Blancos Galactico.

As reported by Football Espana, Thiago Alcantara, after their friendly against Real Madrid, said the following :
"” It is pretty easy to say that he would be welcome at Bayern Munich. We have lost two superb wingers (Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben), two players who have written a lot of Bayern’s history and Gareth Bale plays in pretty much the same position as them. So if someone of Gareth Bale’s calibre wants to come here then, as I said, he is a quality player who would be more than welcome here. “"
Gareth Bale’s huge wage bill seems to be a hindrance in clubs attempting to make a move for him but given the current situation, it would benefit the player to take a cut in his wages and look for another team as it seems to have come down to his self-respect after Zidane’s comments and even the player’s agent has termed the Frenchman a ‘disgrace” after his comments on Bale.
With an exit from Real Madrid seeming extremely likely, Bale’s future still remains undecided. Which club will he represent next summer?
