Real Madrid: Sergio Ramos unhappy with new signing’s VIP treatment
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is not impressed by the way in which Zinedine Zidane has hyped up one of the club’s newest signings.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane united with a player who has been on his radar since a long time- Eden Hazard- after the Belgium international was signed from Chelsea last month. The Whites completed an imminent move worth 100 million euros and gave the Belgium captain a grand reception at the Santiago Bernabeu in front of over 50,000 fans.

Eden Hazard is now arguably the most marketable player that Los Merengues have in their roster. The Belgian is capable of contributing to a lot of shirt sales and will possibly be able to help Real Madrid recover slightly from losing Cristiano Ronaldo, though he is more of a creative player than a lethal goal scorer, who is now Luka Jovic from the newer arrivals.
Zinedine Zidane was initially unhappy with the way Eden Hazard arrived for pre-season and asked the left winger to improve his physical orientation after looking plump on his first day at office. The Frenchman reportedly wants Hazard to be a leader in the dressing room and set an example for his teammates, as per Diario GOL.
A certain someone called Sergio Ramos is unhappy with the kind of treatment a newer recruit as Eden Hazard is getting. The Spain and Real Madrid captain wants to be superior to all and is usually a welcoming player, but in this case, he has apparently not talked a lot to Hazard as he did when most other players were new recruits at the club.
Nevertheless, Eden Hazard and Sergio Ramos are both expected to be integral in their own trades for the Real Madrid side in the 2019/20 campaign, and while the attacker may not add much to the back, the central defender will certainly pop-in with the goals on a few occasions and will probably be on penalties despite the signings of two new forwards this summer.
