Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been the super-agent and convinced a Real Madrid target to join the Italian giants.
Real Madrid have had an incredible transfer window and strengthened every department of their squad apart from the midfield. Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is still on the Whites’ radar amid thoughts that they may still have some unfinished transfer business. That being said, Pogba is also keen on leaving the Old Trafford as per his agent Mino Raiola.

Manchester United’s coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that the France international will be an integral part of his squad for the 2019/20 season. However, the Red Devils will grant Pogba his wish if he wants to leave, but will not sell him for less than 150 million euros, an exorbitant transfer fee given that the player will also consume a large part of the wage budget.
Diario GOL has reported that Real Madrid are unwilling to pay that kind of price for the midfielder after their recent spending, and so, Juventus will try to reunite with their former player. Cristiano Ronaldo, who already influenced Matthijs de Ligt into joining the Old Lady is expected to have played the agent’s role yet again and persuaded Pogba to return.
Juventus have had their own squad revamp, but spent significantly only on Matthijs de Ligt as Aaron Ramsey, Gianluigi Buffon as well as Adrien Rabiot were all free transfers. However, they could offer the Premier League giants Paulo Dybala in a swap deal after the Argentina international has revealed that he wants to leave Turin this summer.
Paulo Dybala will be a great addition to Manchester United’s squad and the fact that he in fact did not feature in Juventus’ pre-season friendly versus Inter Milan in China could be evidence that he may be on the move. But given that Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown interest in him earlier, it is doubtful whether Dybala would like to go to a club that will miss the Champions League this season.
