Manchester United may never have an easier replacement job…
Paul Pogba is one of the names of the summer. Will he stay or will he go? Many neutral fans are calling for him to take the plunge and leave Manchester United, with Real Madrid thought to be the desired destination. Of course, it will all depend upon whether Los Blancos are truly willing to pursue him.
However, the good news for Manchester United fans is that there are options out there should Pogba leave the club. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the number one priority now, with the Daily Mail reporting there has been a verbal agreement between the two parties.

Even if this deal does crash through, Manchester United have another option. That’s because according to the Daily Express, Blaise Matuidi of Juventus is very keen on signing for the Red Devils this summer.
Blaise Matuidi is a good friend of Paul Pogba, having won the biggest honour in world football with him. Therefore, Pogba will have had discussions with the midfielder and judging by Matuidi’s desire to join, Pogba mustn’t have had many bad things to say.
But still, any player’s dream move is to sign for Real Madrid. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will know this, that’s why it’s good he’s accepted the fact and has been in contact with Lazio over a potential deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
In terms of a choice between Matuidi and Milinkovic-Savic, the choice is clear. It must be the Serbian international since he is more cut out for the United opening than Matuidi is.
Milinkovic-Savic is more suited to replace Pogba since they share fairly identical traits. Both players are incredibly versatile and flourish when they’re given the ability to take control of the midfield.
Matuidi is a viable option, don’t get me wrong. However, ageing at 32 years old, Manchester United should be considering longevity and again, Milinkovic-Savic edges Matuidi in this regard (24 years old).
