Juventus has been very busy so far during the transfer window, especially during their seemingly yearly flurry of bad moves to start August.

However, there is still plenty of time for them to making moves like they did in July that provided fans with so much hope. Here are 5 moves they should still make this summer to salvage what is left of the month of August:

Sell Sami Khedira

This is a move that probably should have been made last year and has now become an even more obvious need this season. In fact, it wouldn’t even be that terrible if Juve just let Khedira leave for free. His presence at Juventus really just serves no purpose.

Last season he struggled with injuries and even when he was healthy he managed to earn 10 appearances in an extremely shallow midfield. Now Juve has added Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey to that midfield, making Khedira the 7th option in that midfield.

I can’t imagine there is a long list of teams lining up to sign Sami Khedira right now, but there must be teams out there who would be interested. There is a recent rumor that Arsenal may be interested in signing Khedira as part of a deal to bring in Daniele Rugani on a loan.

This should be an absolute no-brainer for Juve if it’s true. It would offload dead weight from their roster and would also give them a final chance to see if Rugani could ever really be a starter at a high level. Even if Juve is hesitant about letting Rugani leave because the depth issues the team ran into last year, getting rid of Khedira is worth the sacrifice.
