Real Madrid may start to look elsewhere…

There have been many tales this transfer window – from the wacky to the just plain obvious. However, one name has stood out above the rest and that name is Neymar. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, with the main talk involving La Liga superclubs Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Of course, Neymar is familiar with the settings in Barcelona. He spent many fruitful years in Catalunya, winning the league title and Champions League. He was one-third of one of the most potent attacks in football history, so it’s no surprise to see that Barca want to welcome him back.

More from Real Madrid

However, Real Madrid have also been active. Although they may now wish to ease out of the race, according to AS. They have reported that the Parisian club wanted Vinicius Jr to be part of any deal but Real Madrid instantly rejected this proposal. The young Brazilian is too valuable in Zinedine Zidane’s eyes.

Putting this amount of faith into a player so young will fill Vinicius with confidence. He has already had a good start to life in Real colours so he will aim to continue doing so. Should his side still manage to sign Neymar, then he will look forward to learning from two of the best in him and Eden Hazard.

La Liga action kicks off tomorrow night, with Barcelona taking on Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid will need to wait until Saturday afternoon to kick off their campaign as they travel to Celta Vigo. Neymar’s destination will not decide who wins the La Liga title, however, it will certainly be a telling factor come the end of the season.

Neymar is one of the best players in the world and he has flair in abundance. He has it all, from the skill, the intelligence, the creativity and the goal scoring. He is one of the most complete wingers in the world so there’s no surprise he’s the talk of the town.

Where do you think Neymar will be playing this season?
