Just when everybody thought they were down and out, Barcelona have risen from the dead…

Barcelona are undergoing a mixture of emotions right now. They’re going through an impressive transfer window, however, they failed to impress on their opening La Liga fixture against Athletic Bilbao.

That said, Ernesto Valverde has had a lot of thinking to do. It seems that his conclusion is one which many Barcelona fans will side with.

According to ESPN, Barcelona are set to propose a loan offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar. The deal will include an option to buy next summer.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Paris Saint-Germain were to accept this offer. Neymar wanting a move away has clearly had detrimental impacts behind the scenes so they will want to part ways with him as soon as possible.

More from FC Barcelona

Neymar is one of the best players in the world so it’s a shame his time has not worked out in Paris. He let his attitude get the better of him and he didn’t like not having all the power.

With Barcelona, he was constantly spoken about amongst the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. He was thought to be the heir to their throne and rightly so.

He is a magical player to watch and he has skills in abundance. Ignore the cliche but he really could find his way out of a telephone box. His quick footwork and immense control of the ball make him a complete winger. It also helps that he is a talisman, racking up the goals and assists consistently throughout a season.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez would welcome him back with open arms since they formed one of the most fearsome attacks in football history. However, there is now a new man in the equation, Antoine Griezmann.

The Frenchman did not have an impressive debut but he is yet to play alongside Messi and perhaps even Neymar in the coming weeks. Long story short, Barca’s morale shouldn’t be depleted completely since they have a lot to be excited about.
