After a month of being a free agent, Dani Alves would return to his home country of Brazil to bring the #GoodCrazyMood to all of the Tricolor Fans.
Brazilian legend Dani Alves joined Brazilian club São Paulo on August 1st on a contract that runs until December of 2022. Following his time in Paris Saint-Germain, with many speculations to join some top European clubs he decided in the end to join São Paulo in his home country.
18 days after being revealed as the new São Paulo signing, Dani Alves started when Sao Paulo hosted Ceara in the Brasileirao at the Morumbí. Dani Alves following a great play by his teammates would score in his first game for the Tricolor. The Morumbí exploded when their new number 10 scored for the first time giving them the only goal in the game and the three points.
A really close game between the two sides that led to the solitary goal of the Brazilian, Dani Alves would have his dream debut: a goal, and the three points. In the 40th minute of the first half of what seemed to be shot from Juanfran came up in the middle being unsuccessfully cleared out of the box by the Ceará defenders, Raniel would just need a simple and small back passto Dani Alves who would carry the ball between two defenders and score in his first game as a Tricolor Player.
The match would end 1-0 in favor of the hosts, but this will be a game that Alves will not forget. São Paulo now sit in 5th place, accumulating g a total of 27 points in 14 games. São Paulo’s next game will see them travelling to Parana to face Athletico Paranaense for the Brasileirão.
Dani Alves has made an enormous impact to any team that he joins, scoring in his debut is just a glimpse of what he can provide to the team. Dani Alves is a great addition to the Tricolor who will be looking to win the Brasileirão at the end of the season. Failing to qualify to the 2019 edition of the Copa Libertadores, and being eliminated by Bahia in the Copa do Brasil, the Brasileirão is the only piece of silverware the Tricolor and Dani Alves can achieve this season.
One thing is certain for the rest of this season, Dani Alves will bring that #GoodCrazyMood every time he steps into that pitch wearing the Tricolor jersey.
