Real Madrid return to challenging Barcelona for Neymar
By Kian Long
It seemed for a short while that Barcelona were the front runners but Real Madrid have not given up…
The Neymar transfer saga seems like it has been ongoing for aeons. However, it must draw to a close soon with the transfer window ending this week. It would appear that Real Madrid are readying themselves to make one last bid.
According to Fox Sports, Los Blancos are prepared to let three of their star players leave the club in order to sign Neymar. The trio of players will include Vinicius Junior, James Rodriguez and Rodrygo Goes.
The name which raises the most flashing lights for Paris Saint-Germain will be Vinicius. The Mirror reported earlier that the French club were insistent on the Brazilian being involved in any deal.

This is because they see him as the ideal successor to Neymar’s throne and he could be seen as the Brazilian project 2.0.
Neymar will never be completely closed off to a move to Real Madrid. While his previous loyalties will lead him to sign for Barcelona, if PSG accept a deal from the capital then no player could turn down a move there.
Neymar is one of the best players in the world, so Madrid would welcome him with open arms. While it would be a shame to let go of three promising players, they will receive a certain Ballon d’Or contender.
Neymar is very energetic and skilful. He makes his playing style seem effortless and it becomes an annoyance to his competitors. He breezes past his opposing players with ease and the old cliche comes true, he really could make his way out of a phone box.
It will be interesting to see how the final week of this belonged Neymar saga pans out. One thing is for sure, it will be an eventful end to this transfer window and as neutrals, we will be hoping it continues into deadline day.
