Jurgen Klopp – 8/10
This was a tough match for Klopp and his men. However, the German set his side up well to beat Chelsea. He ensured that the players under him trusted in the gameplan and it showed by their performances.
There was a clear set-piece tactic which led to both goals. I assume Klopp had something to do with this and he should push his players to keep this tactic up until it is sussed by opponents.
James Milner – 6/10

Milner was brought on for one reason and one reason only, his experience. Klopp utilised this asset well when it was much needed. He has been involved in many cagey affairs throughout his career, so this experience served him well when defending coming up against Chelsea.
He even managed to waste time well by using his attacking ability. After all, offence is the best type of defence.
Adam Lallana – 5/10
Lallana was brought on to stop the Chelsea attacks in midfield. This was always going to be a difficult task given that Chelsea pushed
Joe Gomez – N/A
He was brought on with only 2 minutes to spare but he did nothing to jeopardise his legacy. It would be unjust to give him a rating for such a short stint.
