Even the Manchester United players want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer out
By Kian Long
Now that it’s reaching this stage, the Manchester United board should seriously consider making their next move…
Fans of domestic football dread the international break. Yes, it’s a time to get behind their country but let’s face it, this is only worth missing league action if it’s a major competition. Manchester United fans, on the other hand, will treat this break as if its a vacation.
They are going through a tough time of things in the league and in Europe. They head into the international break just two points ahead of the drop-off zone in the Premier League and second in Group L of the Europa League. They are without a win in their last five matches, although they did make progress in the League Cup following a penalty shootout.
Long story short, they are going through their worst start to a Premier League season from memory. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not the man who fans want at the helm and there are a number of players that need to buck their ideas up too.

If reports from The Sun are to believed, the Manchester United players are losing hope with Solskjaer too. The news outlet also reports that the Norwegian feels like his players have stopped listening to him.
This “pin the blame on the players/manager” narrative is something that traditional Manchester United fans will be appalled by. Only six years ago did they bid farewell to their greatest manager ever, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Last decade was when the club were at their peak, dominating both England and Europe on some seasons. They had the likes of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic forming a solid, exciting unit that was hard to keep with. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
The Manchester United board need to seriously consider their next move. They cannot let sentimentality get the better of them; yes, Solskjaer is a club legend but this doesn’t give him a permanent position as manager. Even the players can see how detrimental his appointment has been.
Do you think Manchester United should bite the bullet and fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
