LB: Alex Sandro 7.5/10

The second half of this match was the best half Alex Sandro has played this season. He was finally able to make an impact in the attacking third, nearly scoring Juve’s winner and instead forcing a save that set Dybala up to score his second. Hopefully we see more of this out of Sandro going forward, as this was the part of his game that has been absent all year.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 6/10

It looks like the insane amount of playing time he has been getting is finally catching up with Leonardo Bonucci. He looked fatigued and slow throughout the match. Luckily, he didn’t have much to do in the match as Juve absolutely dominated possession in the match. He did a pretty poor job on Lokomotiv’s goal, not really closing down any of their options on the counterattack.. Juve gets to play an awful Lecce team this weekend and they’ll hopefully take advantage of the opportunity to rest Bonucci.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt 5.5/10

Matthijs de Ligt had another rough moment on the big stage. He completely whiffed on a header that allowed a Lokomotiv goal kick to make it deep into Juve’s half, setting up the opening goal. He wasn’t all that noticeable the rest of the match, so the defensive gaffe will be the lasting image of this match. However, he will get a good chance to bounce back on Saturday against Lecce.

RB: Juan Cuadrado 7.5/10

It didn’t take long for Juan Cuadrado to make up for his poor performance over the weekend. After struggling on both ends of the field on Saturday, he had a big impact on the Juve attack. The attack seemed to run exclusively through him for large portions of the match and he provided the assist on Dybala’s first goal. This is the type of match that is why Juve has been comfortable using Cuadrado at right back and he has once again made Juve’s upcoming decision over whether to bench him once Danilo returns very interesting.
